One of our regular family days out is a trip to MOTAT. It’s a great wee place to wander around and good if you’ve got a wide age and gender mix.
My girls love the old village section, playing with old telephones, and the tactile dome whereas the little boy we’ve often had with us loved the steam trains and army planes. All of them love the tram ride, and special events such as getting to ride on the military carriers, or the horse and carts.
I’m a big of a museum-o-phile, so love the fact I’ve got two free family passes to give away so you can also enjoy a day there.
All you need to do is tell me you’d like a pass and you’re in to receive on.
Drawn 23rd August.
WHAT IS MOTAT?
MOTAT is New Zealand’s largest transport, technology and social history museum and a great day out for the whole family. Spread across 40 acres from its Victorian Village to the award-winning Aviation Display Hall, MOTAT will take you on an interactive journey to explore and discover the achievements and stories that have helped shape New Zealand from the 1800s to today. Investigate the many collection objects, stories and interactive activities that MOTAT has to offer as well as its fun holiday experiences, educational trails and exhibitions.
I’d definitely be keen please
